 Elder Dawnya Lindsey was named the 2007 WOP Woman of the Year at the annual Women's Weekend!! Dr. BJ Relefourd, the founder and CEO of Women of Power states the following about Elder Lindsey. "When I think of the word “dedication”, Elder Lindsey comes to mind. Her dedication to the spirit of excellence has enabled her to excel tremendously in all areas of her life. Elder Lindsey definitely has the heart beat of Women of Power. She can discern the vision for this great organization which God gave to Dr. Relefourd whether it’s a particular product, book, descriptive writing or more. Woman of the Year is a distinct honor because it is never about what the recipient sees in herself, but what she demonstrates to others.
